Our goal is to provide you and your students with a great day of percussion ensemble experiences. Venue

The PAS Percussion Ensemble Competition & Festival will take place at the state-of-the-art Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts located in downtown Orlando.

There are many performance venues at the Dr. Phillips Center. We will utilize Steinmetz Hall for the Percussion Ensemble performances and evening featured concert. Steinmetz Hall is a music-focused space that is considered one of the world's most acoustically perfect halls.

Schedule

An overview of the full day schedule is as follows:

8:00 AM Performance block #1 ensembles arrive to DPC loading dock and security entrance
8:30 AM Performance block #1 begins (see details below)
11:45 AM Everyone must exit Steinmetz Hall for the Union regulated lunch break
12:00 PM Lunch break (food trucks at the Seneff Plaza)
1:00 PM Performance block #2 ensembles arrive to DPC loading dock and security entrance
1:30 PM Performance block #2 begins (see details below)
4:45 PM Everyone must exit Steinmetz Hall for the Union regulated dinner break
5:00 PM Dinner break (food trucks at the Seneff Plaza)
7:00 PM House opens for evening featured concert and awards ceremony
7:30 PM Evening featured concert and awards ceremony begins
9:00 PM Evening featured concert and awards ceremony concludes

The featured evening concert and awards ceremony is a free event for all participating ensembles. Tickets will be provided to directors and more details are provided in the Featured Concert and Awards section further down the page.
